Monochrome Halloween

Hello!

It's time for a new challenge at The Paper Shelter challenge blog and this time the theme is "Halloween/Halloween colours".

I used this beautiful image called A Beauty to Die For and decided to go with a monochromatic colour scheme. Or can you say it's monochromatic when the lady has red eyes? Anyways I love the result 😊

I got inspired by Cocktails and Dreams stamp set by Visible Image. The images are coloured with alcohol markers.

The background I made with Time Tunnel stencil, glitter paint and Distress Inks.

And here is the atc I made for Visible Image atc swap with the same stuff. I also added glossy accents over the glass to create some dimension and shine.

Contents of the bag 7:
- Cocktails & Dreams stamps and dies by Visible Image (used on this card)
- Vintage Wallpaper background stamp by Carabelle Studio
- Brick wall stencil by ??? (sorry, I don't remember the company)

Hocus Pocus

Hi!

It's time for a new Polkadoodles Craft challenge, come and join us here 😊

I used Isadora Witch image and coloured her with alcohol markers (and some white gel pen) before fussy cutting her.

Then I cut the crystal ball with the Snow Globe die and coloured it with Distress Inks and white gel pen. I also used Starry Nights stencil with gold glitter paste to bring some more magical feeling. The base of the crystal ball is die cut from black cardstock and I added some white details with white gel pen and white paint pen.

When the crystall ball was ready I taped Isadora on it with foam tape and added a Hocus Pocus sentiment from Boo Halloween Sentiment bundle.

New baby card

Hello!

It's time for a new challenge at The Paper Shelter challenge blog and this time the theme is "All Creatures Great and Small".

I used this adorable The Best Day of my Life image and coloured it with Copics. I decided to use pastel colours for a change.

The background paper is from an old Polkadoodles paper pack. I added some WOW! embossing powder to circle die cut (by Joy Crafts) under the dragon and BABY alphabets (by Creativ Company) before taping them and the dragon image over the background paper. Lastly I added some flowers I cut with TLC Designs dies.

XOXO birthday card

Hello!

This time I share a card I made for my 'crafty challenge calendar'. You can find more info about the challenge from my earlier post here.

I made this card for my hubby who had his birthday this month. Firstly I stamped the mouth with a Visible Image stamp and added glossy accents all over the lips part. When the lips were dry I stenciled the background with Distress Ink and Carabelle Studio stencil and stamped XO's here and there. Then I just taped my creation over a black card base.

XOXO

- Vintage Wallpaper #10 by Carabelle Studio (used on this card)

Christmas tea card/gift

Hi!

It's time for a new Polkadoodles Craft challenge, come and join us here 😊

I got an idea of a Christmas tea cup card/gift combination.

I used the background paper, cute penguin and sentiment from Winnie White Christmas big kahuna and a cup from Cactus Cup (I just cut the cactus part away). I coloured the cup with Distress Inks and a metallic gold brush pen. The penguin is precoloured but I added a little more colour to it with alcohol markers. The sentiment part is also coloured with Distress Inks and then taped over a tea bag.

After everything was coloured I taped the cup to the background so that the tea bag fits there perfectly and comes out when you pull the tea bag string upwards. Great card/little gift for a tea lover 😊

Happy Ghosts

 Hello!

It's time for a new challenge at The Paper Shelter challenge blog and this time the theme is "3 of something".

I decided to use this fun Ghostly Giggles Gang image.

I used Carabelle Studio stencil to create the background. Firstly I coloured the outside parts of the ghosts and then I added some lighter colours to the ghosts to make them look transparent. The sky and the grass are coloured with Distress Inks and the black/grey parts (castle etc.) with Copics.

Lastly I stamped Happy Halloween sentiment with a PaperArtsy stamp.

Halloween witch

Hello!

Here's another card I made with the stuff from my Craft Calendar bag 1. You can find more info about my crafty challenge from my earlier post here.

I think this beautiful lady goes well with Halloween themed card so I chose to use it with the bat stencil.

I coloured the Lady and the bottles with Derwent Inktense pencils. The background I've made earlier (with sprays) and just added the bats with stencil and black gesso. I also added some glitter spray that unfortunately doesn't show in the picture. The bottles and the poem are stamped with PaperArtsy stamps.

Contents of the bag 1:
-  Katherine stamp by Prima Marketing
- Another beautiful lady stamp (used on this card) (if you recognise the manufacturer, please let me know)
- Background stamp by Carabelle Studio
- Embossing folder by Creative Expressions
- Stencil by Carta Bella (used on this card)
- Dies by Brutus Monroe
