Fancy a cake?

Hello!

 It's time for a new challenge, come and join us here Polkadoodles Craft Challenge.

This time I used Scruff the dog Cupcake image and coloured it with alcohol markers. I also wanted to use this amazing Sweet Cake SVG, so I had to dig up my ScanNCut because I haven't used it for awhile.

Otherwise the card is super simple. The background papers are from Love Always Papers 1 and I added some pink Distress Ink to edges and a satin ribbon between the different papers. I also added a few half pearls to the corners.

Scruff the dog and cookies

Hi all!

Here is the super cute Scruff the Dog with Heart Cookies 💕 I coloured the doggie with alcohol markers.

The background papers are from Sugar Scrumptious paper pack, I distressed them a little with a distressing tool and also added some Distress Inks to the edges.

The hearts I cut with Squarey Swirly Hearts and then coloured with alcohol markers and white gel pen. They look quite delicious 😋

The sentiment is stamped with Sweet Birthday stamp set. 

Maybe there could be some pearls or something but I like this simple style also 😊

Hello beautiful

Happy Friday!

I bought a few Picket Fence Studios amazing stamps recently and I just had to create something with them. 
 
So I created this CAS card with Life Happens. Lashes Help. stamp set. Firstly I was thinking of a slimline card but because I wanted to keep it super simple I changed my mind and went with "normal" card size.
 
I used Versafine ink to stamp the eyes and text and coloured the eyes with Stabilo pens. And of course the eyes had to be green, because I love green 😊

I just love this, it's super simple but still so effective and beautiful.

Blue gnome card

Hi everyone!

There is a new release on Polkadoodles shop and guess what - it's gnomes!

On my card I used Spring Flowers Gnome from the collection and coloured him with alcohol markers.

The background papers are from Dragon Onesie Little Dude and Ruth Supermum packs and the text is from last year's Gnome-tastic Sentiments pack.

Then just some satin ribbon and a few buttons.

Day full of cupcakes

Hi everyone and happy Valentine's Day!

Here's some sweets for you 😊

I used three different cupcakes from Polkadoodles new Coffee, Tea & Cake digi release - Waffle Cream Frosting Cupcake, Strawberry Cream Cupcake and Cherry Chocolate Cream Cupcake. I coloured the image with alcohol markers and white gel pen. The cupcakes I taped to the background with foam tape to get some 3D effect.

The background paper is from Coffee Tea and Cake papers pack and sentiment from Coffee, Tea and Cake Greetings pack.
 
These cupcakes look so delicious 😋 And I have to admit that I had to bake a real cake after I coloured these 😃

Love & Kisses

Hi!
 
It's time for new Polkadoodles Craft Challenge, come and join our 'Anything goes' challenge!  

On my card I used Love&Kisses digi and coloured it with alcohol markers. To the background I used Love Heart 1 stencil with Distress Ink and then added some pearl paste with Love Heart 2 stencil. The text is made with Sentimentals stamp set, and I taped it and the image to the background with foam tape.

Red & Black Valentine's Devil Card

Happy Wednesday everyone!

It's time for a new challenge at The Paper Shelter challenge blog. The theme is 'Red or pink as a main colour'.

I used this adorable My Little She-Devil Costume image and coloured it with alcohol markers.

I coated the background card board with black gesso and let it dry. Then I used some paste (mixed red acrylic paint and white paste) and stencil to create the heart pattern. When it was dry I added black satin ribbon and taped the image with foam tape. I also die cut a heart and a love text and taped them to cardboard as well.
 
I just love the black and red combination 💖❤ What do you think?

Coffee canvas

Hi all!

This time I made a 20x20cm coffee canvas for our kitchen. Me and my hubby are both coffee lovers so this suits for us well 😊

So firstly I coloured the Latte Coffee Cup and the Mocha Coffee Cup with alcohol markers and then cut them. I also printed the text from Coffee, Tea and Cake Greetings set.

Then I made the background. Firstly I just randomly added some sprays and acrylic paints on the canvas. I also added the texts and added some clear gesso over them so I could freely add some paints and stuff without worrying that the ink would start to spread. 
 
When it was dry I added some paste with Distressed Trellis and Land and Sea stencils. Then some more spraying and painting and just a little bit of white gesso here and there. And lastly I added the coffee cups with foam tape.
 
I really like this. Maybe the background is a little dark, but it goes really well with the coffee theme 😊

Too Cute Suki

Hello!

Here's a simple card I made with a Polkadoodles Suki Cat image. 

I coloured the cat with alcohol markers and fussy cut it. To the background I just added pastel pink and blue acrylic paint with a flat brush here and there without thinking about it too much. 

When it was dry I taped the sentiment and Suki with foam tape and added a few pearls with a pearl pen.

Too cute!

Just wanna squeeze you

Hi everyone!

Here's another card using Polkadoodles Love Always digi collection. 

This image is Love you Bunches and I coloured it with alcohol markers. Maybe little too intense colours this time, but sometimes you just need to go over the edge 😃

I cut the image with Posydoodles Rectangles die and added some Distress Ink with Land and Sea stencil. I also stenciled the card base and stamped hearts here and there. I taped the image to the background with foam tape and also added a sentiment from Love Always sentiment set.

This is a weird card - sometimes when I look at it I like it and then other times I don't like it 😃 What do you think?

Colourful step card with Bella Bear

Happy Wednesday!

Today I'm here with the new Polkadoodles super cute Paws & Whiskers collection.

I used this adorable Bella Bear with Heart Gift image and coloured her with alcohol markers and white gel pen.

I wanted to use something colourful and I found Toadally Cute paper pack (which I toadally love) in my stash and that was exactly what I needed. So I coated the step card base with that paper, added Bella Bear, some flowers made with Flower Flourish die and a sentiment from Love Always sentiment pack.
 
I love how this turned out 💖 What do you think?
