Christmas light

Happy Wednesday!

It's time for a new challenge at The Paper Shelter challenge blog and theme is 'Frame It'.

I used this cute My Little Christmas Light image and coloured it with alcohol markers.

The background I did with stencil and Distress Inks. Flower I've done earlier from foamiran.

I think I should've added the text next to the flower, but I had already taped it so I just have to settle for it this way... But well, maybe I'm little wiser next time and don't tape anything before I'm happy 😃

Ihanaa juhlapäivää!

Hi!

It's time for a new challenge at The Paper Shelter challenge blog. The theme is 'Fancy Folds'.

I used a beautiful Moon Spell image, coloured it with alcohol markers. If you wonder where the moon is, I cut it out because it didn't fit on this card 😊

I decided to do a step card (because folds are the theme), and coated the card base with rose patterned paper i found my stash. Then I added the image and sentiment (have a wonderful day in english).

I also decided to add a foamiran rose, because I felt the card looked so plain and flat.

I'm quite happy with the result, even though I think the image isn't quite right for this card.

Easter

Hello!

It's time for a new challenge at Polkadoodles challenge blog.

I used Winnie Easter Bunny digi Stamp and coloured it with alcohol markers. I chose to use pastel green shades (firstly I was going to do it with yellows, but of course my marker said no way and run out of ink). I used Large Polka dot stencil and Distress Inks to background.

I decided to do some flowers using foamiran and Flower Flourish die set. It was fun to do foamiran flowers, it's too long from the last time I've done those. I also used Fancy Snowflake die to do leaves under the flowers.

Sentiment is from Sentimentals stamp set. Then few half pearls to corners and the card is ready.

Happy Easter!

Winnie Light the Way

Hello!

Yesterday we finally got our Christmas decorations up, yay! I'm usually not this late, but somehow I just haven't felt so Christmassy. I don't know what's wrong with me because I love Christmas...

But anyways here's my card using Polkadoodles Winnie Heavenly Light the Way stamp. I wanted to use traditional Christmas colours with this image. Winnie itself is so beautiful so the rest of the card is simple. The background paper is from Twiggy & Toots Festive Fun crafting collection and the foamiran poinsettia is made by me. Then just some ribbon and half pearls.

I think this looks peaceful, do you agree?

There is beauty in every storm

Hello!

I'm just looking outside of window as I write this. There is so unbelievable strong wind, sometimes it feels like our roof is going to fly. But happily this building is still stronger than the wind. I'm just glad I don't have to go anywhere today. But enough of that, let's go to crafting. Actually my card is pretty well fitted for this weather...

At this card I used digi stamp Rose In Storm from Ching-Chou Kuik. I instantly fell in love with this image when I saw it 😃 It's coloured with alcohol markers.

Background paper was originally for another card, but sometimes things just click and I decided to use it at this card. I used many different colour sprays and Distress Oxide ink with that. Then I used stencil and paste to create crack pattern.

Rose is also made by myself. I die cutted foamiran and heated and shaped those cuts to do a rose. Leaves are die-cutted and embossed. Text is made with Dymo Junior embossing label maker.

It took awhile to make this card, but I love it!

My own challenge for year 2020 - use something that you own, but haven't used before:
23/52 Leaf embossing folder.

Kukkaisonnittelut

Tämän kortin teko alkoi taustakartongista. Se on aika tummasävyinen, joten halusin tuoda korttiin pinkillä värillä pirteämpää ilmettä.

Kukkaset ja lehdet on tehty foamiranista, ensimmäisiä kokeilujani sillä saralla. Paljon onnea -teksti on valmis leike ja "kuplat" on stanssattuja. Lisäksi vielä muutama puolihelmi.

Kiva kun pokkesit! Jätä ihmeessä kommenttia 😊
