Fun winter card

Happy Wednesday!

It's time for a new challenge at The Paper Shelter challenge blog and this time we  would like you to take inspiration from the mood board below.

I made this fun winter themed card. I used the image Whole Lotta Snow! and coloured it with alcohol markers (yes, I finally bought a new printer, yay!). I used a little lighter colours than I usually do because I wanted to follow the delicate colours of the mood board (but did not quite succeed 😁). Then I stamped some snowflakes and sentiment on the background. I also added some glitter glue on the sentiment.

Winter birthday fairy

Hi crafters!

Here again with a Moondrea Designs DT work 😊

This time I used this beautiful Winter Fairy image and coloured her with alcohol markers. I wanted to stay mostly with a cool/blue/white colour scheme but added a hint of gold and green.

The background I made with sprays, let it dry and then added some snowflakes with a stencil and glittery blue paste. When the background was ready and dry I added the image, sentiment and some die cut snowflakes.

Winter fun

Hello!

I'm honored to be a guest designer on Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge 😊 The sponsors of the challenge are All Dressed Up Stamps and Colour of Love. Theme is "Anything goes" so come and join the fun!

I used a Feeding the Birds image by All Dressed Up Stamps and coloured it with alcohol markers. I die cut it, coloured the edges and added glitter. Then I added some snow with white paint marker.

The background I had done earlier with Distress ink pads and now I embossed and die cut it. I also die cut a little bigger blue cardboard and glued them together. Then I added some white stains/drops with acrylic paint and paint marker, some white die cuts and glitter on the edges.

Lastly I taped the image on the background with foam tape, added the snowman and the sentiment.

Happy winter!

It's cold out there

 Hello!

It's time for a new challenge at The Paper Shelter challenge blog and this time we want to see "Something cold". It can be weather, drink or maybe you choose to use cold colours.

I went with the weather theme, because I've been wanting to use this image for awhile. So the image is called It's Cold Out There and I coloured it with alcohol markers. I wanted to keep it otherwise quite simple, so I just added a lilac and pink cardboard and a text saying "Have a sunny winter" 😆

So, something humorous for the beginning of this year 😊

Skating Around

Happy Saturday everyone!

It's time for a new Polkadoodles Craft challenge, come and join us here 😊

On my card I used Winnie Winterland Skating Around image, coloured it with alcohol markers and then cut it with Posydoodles Circles die. I wanted to play with red and blue so I used the background papers from Winnie Starfish/Sandcastles Papers 3 set and added some red cardboard also. The text is from Winnie White Christmas Big Kahuna.

Favorite snow-pal

Hi crafters!

This time I share with you this cheery and cute snowman and fairies card 😊 I wanted to create something fun and not Christmas, so I chose to use bright and more spring-related colours.

I used the fairies from Frosty Fairies Digital Stamp Set and the snowman from Snow Buddies Digital Stamp Set. I designed the layout with a text editor program, printed it and then coloured it with alcohol markers and white gel pen.

I cut the image, the card base and the frame with See You In The Center Interactive Die. The patterned paper is from Sun Shiny Days Slimline Digital Paper Pack.

The text is from Snow Buddies Digital Stamp Set and I cut it with Loving Petals Square Die.

Waddling in a winter wonderland

Hello!

Here's another cutie penguin from the new Theo Penguin release by Polkadoodles.

This image is called Ski Theo Penguin, paper is from The Penguin Paper Bundle 3 and text from The Penguin Greetings Bundle.

I designed the card with a text editor program and then printed it. Then I coloured the image with alcohol markers and added a violet cardboard. I also added some clear glitter glue between the patterned paper and white paper (although it doesn't show well in the pic) so that the change wouldn't look so 'strong'.

Oh flap!

Happy Monday!

There's new release on the Polkadoodles shop and it's super cute Theo Penguin 😍

This is the first card I made using this collection and I had quite a clear vision of what I wanted.

So I used paper from Theo Penguin Paper Bundle 1, sentiment from The Penguin Greetings Bundle and Fishy Present image and arranged them how I wanted with the text editor program before printing it. Then I coloured Theo with alcohol markers and just added a turquoise cardboard.

I love the simplines of this card and that paper is just perfect to use like this. Maybe the text should've been a little smaller but what is done is done 😊

What do you think?

Magical Winter Day

Hi everyone!

It's time for new Polkadoodles Craft Challenge, come and join our 'Anything goes' challenge!

We were challenged to do a cheer up winter card and this is what I made 😊

I used Watch Your Step image and coloured it with alcohol markers and white gel pen. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do, but decided to use turquoise and purple as the main colours 'cause I haven't used them so much lately.

The background I made with amazing Starry Nights stencil and Distress Inks. And the text is from Sparkle Unicorn sentiments set.

I'm happy how this turned out. It makes me smile, at least 😊
