With all my heart

Happy Wednesday!

It's time for a new challenge at The Paper Shelter challenge blog and this time our challenge theme is "Colours of love". And of course you can also go with "Anything goes" option.

I used With All My Heart image and coloured it with alcohol markers. To the background I added some hearts and otherwise kept the card quite simple. Maybe I will add some embellishments later but when I was doing this nothing seemed to work the way I wanted - so simple we go 😊

A-moose-ing birthday

Hello!

Something a-moose-ing this time 😀

My friend needed a fun birthday card for a hunter. I didn't have any suitable stamps so I drew the moose myself. It's coloured with alcohol markers.

The background I made with stencil and Distress inks. The sign is also coloured with alcohol markers and the text I made with a word punch board and added a black cardstock under it. The sign says something like "Wishing you a-moose-ing birthday".

I'm quite happy with this, especially because I haven't drawn much. I've meant to practise drawing for a while now and this was a perfect opportunity to do it 😊

I wish it was Halloween already

Happy Wednesday!

It's time for a new challenge at The Paper Shelter challenge blog and this time our challenge theme is "These are a few of my favourite things. . . "

Well, my favourite things that I go with are green and Halloween - not a very big surprise 😊 I used The Little Witch image and coloured it with alcohol markers. The background I made with stencil and Distress Inks. Then I just added heat embossed sentiment and a few die cut bats and tree branches.

New baby shaker card

Hello!

This time I'm sharing a shaker card I made for a new baby.

I just love this cute sleeping dragon (by Whimsy Stamps) so I had to use it on this card 😊 I coloured it with alcohol markers and added some Wink of Stella glitter here and there (doesn't show very well in the pics).

I die cut a frame from patterned paper and added some "lace" around it. Then I added acetate sheet and foam tape, added some confetti and taped it to the base. I also did the handle part and taped it to the shaker part. Lastly I added some gift ribbon and a flower.

Products used:
  • Whimsy Stamps - Dreamy Dragon stamp
  • Tsukineko - Memento tuxedo black
  • Copics & Promarkers
  • Crealies - Circle XXL dies
  • Polkadoodles - Pretty Flower Flourish dies
  • Wink of stella glitter pen
  • Acetate sheet, foam tape, glue, paper flower, gift ribbon, patterned paper, confetti

Fun winter card

Happy Wednesday!

It's time for a new challenge at The Paper Shelter challenge blog and this time we  would like you to take inspiration from the mood board below.

I made this fun winter themed card. I used the image Whole Lotta Snow! and coloured it with alcohol markers (yes, I finally bought a new printer, yay!). I used a little lighter colours than I usually do because I wanted to follow the delicate colours of the mood board (but did not quite succeed 😁). Then I stamped some snowflakes and sentiment on the background. I also added some glitter glue on the sentiment.
