Mother's Day card

Hello!

It's time for a new Polkadoodles Craft challenge, come and join us here 😊  
 
On my card I used an adorable Bella Bear Morning Coffee digi set. The sentiment is from Winnie Sugar Sprinkles Sentiment/Quote Bundle. I layered the patterned papers, added precoloured Bella and then just some ribbon and half pearls. 
 
Super easy but still beautiful!

Inspired by a book

Happy Wednesday!
 
It's time for a new challenge at The Paper Shelter challenge blog and this time we want to see something that's "Inspired by a book".

This beautiful Owl Whisperer image immediately got me thinking about the book series that started my passion for reading (especially fantasy books). And it was David Eddings The Belgariad series - I just loved those. It might be that my taste has changed a little since but I'm totally going to read those books again some day 😊


 

So this image reminds me of Polgara from those stories and if you check out the book cover of 'Polgara the Sorceress' you understand why. I own that book so I wanted to follow that colour scheme and add the tree. Everything else is coloured by alcohol markers except the sky that I did with Distress Inks.

Ew, people

Hi ya!

There's a new rebellious release on the Polkadoodles shop - check out the Rebel collection.

On my card I used the Sulky Attitude Rebel Girl image and the text from Rebel Messages with Attitude bundle. I designed the layout with a text editor program, printed it and coloured with alcohol markers.

I just love her 💚

Slimline flower card

Hi crafters!
 
It's Merja here with a pink flowery themed card. This kind of card has been on my to-do list for a long time, but finally I really made it 😃 There are just so many ideas and so little time...


 
So, the background paper is from Snow Family Fun Slimline Digital Paper Pack and I cut it with Zinnia Slimline Die. The flowers are also cut with the same die set from the papers I printed from Soft Blush Digital Paper Pack. I added some translucent white ink to the flowers to create some shine.
 
The dragonflies and half circle under the text and flowers are cut with Happy Dragonfly Circle Die. I coloured the dragonflies with Distress Inks, added some glitter glue on them and wings that I cut from tracing paper.



 
 Lastly I added some Glossy accents drops here and there.

I used images from Pizzaria Digital Stamps and Toga Angels Stamps and coloured them with alcohol markers.

 


The paper is from Something Bloomed Slimline Digital Paper Pack and the shaker window and frame are cut with Star Spangled Confetti Die.

Love birdies

Hello!

On my card I used these adorable birdies Love Bird Cupid and Love Bird Heart and coloured them with alcohol markers. 
 
The patterned paper is from Wings of Love papers 2 pack and text from Love Birds Valentine greetings pack.

Wicked

 Hello!

It's time for a new challenge at The Paper Shelter challenge blog and this time we want to see "Something you love".
 
 I love Halloween, so I went with that 😊 I used the Witching Hour image and coloured this beauty with alcohol markers. The background I did with Distress Inks and added some black ink and white acrylic paint splatters.

Sending you a smile

Hi crafters!

Something cute and magical this time with TLC Designs products 💚



 
I created the background with Happy Bloom Day & Clouds Stencil and Distress Inks. Then I added the text from Dragon Baby "Greetings" Digital Stamp Set and cut the card with Zinnia Slimline Die.


 
 
 
This cute little alicorn is from Alicorn Happiness Stamps set and I coloured it with alcohol markers.
 
 Lastly I added stars made with Star Spangled Confetti Dies. I coloured the stars with Distress Inks and added some clear glitter glue on them.
