XOXO

Hi!

It's almost February, OMG! The time just flies.. But fortunately there is still couple of weeks to create Valentine cards 😃

On this card I used a character from Your Love Lifts Me Up Balloon image and coloured her with alcohol markers.

The papers are from Love Always Papers 2 and Love Always Papers 3 sets. I also added some satin ribbon and bows and a few hearts with love and kisses 😊

Time to bloom

Hello!

It's time for new Polkadoodles Craft Challenge, come and join our 'Anything goes' challenge!

On my card I used an adorable Hyacinth image, coloured her with alcohol markers and then fussy cut her.

The background I made with multiple stencils and medias. Firstly I used Heavenly Circles stencil with yellow and orange sprays, then I added some purple Distress Ink and yellow paste with Creepy Foliage stencil.

The text is from Let's Hang Out Sentiments set and I taped it and the image with foam tape on the background.

Chocolate cake

 Happy Wednesday!

It's time for a new challenge at The Paper Shelter challenge blog. The theme is 'Chocolate Cake Day'.

So I decided to use Curious Cake image and really went with that chocolate theme 😃 I coloured the cake with alcohol markers and white gel pen and then fussy cut it.

I also wanted to use some adorable paper from The Paper Shelter, because I really love them but still haven't used much. I went with this My Little She Devil Costume paper, I think it goes very well with the chocolate cake.

I stamped the sentiment, taped the cake with foam tape and added some half pearls.

I said to my hubby that it feels that this is missing something and he said that 'Maybe you should bake that cake' 😃 Yeah, maybe it's good this way 😉

And here's the closeup of colouring.

Happy Birthday Nikky!

Happy Saturday!

Today is a surprise party day, we DTs are having fun on Polkadoodles Facebook pages and sharing the birthday cards we made for Nikky (the owner) 🎈🥳🎉

On my card I used Baked You a Cake digi and coloured her with alcohol markers and white gel pen.

To the background I firstly did the banner with Birthday Balloon stencil and Distress Ink and added glitter paste over it. When it was dry I added the balloons with the same stencil and Distress Inks. Then I used Celebration Background stencil with Distress Inks and glitter paste.

Then I taped the sentiment and Winnie on the background with foam tape and wrote Nikky on the banner. Sentiment is made with Sentimentals stamp set.

Your love lifts me up

Hi everyone!

Valentine's Day is getting closer and here is another card made with the new Polkadoodles Love Always digi collection.

This time I used Your Love Lifts Me Up Balloon image and sentiment from Love Always Sentiments bundle. The original digi stamp has two characters in it but I decided to use only the one with the balloons. I arranged it and the text the way I liked and then printed it.

Then I coloured the image with alcohol markers and white gel pen, added some pink cardboard and taped it on the card base.

Simple but cute, don't you think?

Magical Winter Day

Hi everyone!

It's time for new Polkadoodles Craft Challenge, come and join our 'Anything goes' challenge!

We were challenged to do a cheer up winter card and this is what I made 😊

I used Watch Your Step image and coloured it with alcohol markers and white gel pen. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do, but decided to use turquoise and purple as the main colours 'cause I haven't used them so much lately.

The background I made with amazing Starry Nights stencil and Distress Inks. And the text is from Sparkle Unicorn sentiments set.

I'm happy how this turned out. It makes me smile, at least 😊

Anything is possible

Hello!

Our Christmas break is over and it's time for a new challenge at The Paper Shelter challenge blog. This time the theme is 'Colour it'.

I decided to use The Dreamer image and coloured it with alcohol markers.

I wasn't sure how to continue so I decided to move on to the background. I knew that I wanted to do something dreamy, fantasy or maybe space themed. I used sprays and added some opaque paste "stains" over it - I really love how the paste shows some colour splashes. Maybe the colours could be a little brighter but I still love how it turned out.

I fussy cut the image and left the stars and moon away. I also cut the bottle and added some vellum so that it looks more transparent. I taped the image on the background with foam tape.

The text is also stamped on vellum.

First Christmas card for 2022

Hello!

Here's my first Christmas card for this year. It's a good thing to start early, right? Well, we still have Christmas tree and Christmas lights, so maybe they inspired me - and of course this new (for me) stamp I received 😊

So I got a little bundle of a few different PaperArtsy stamps and because there was this flower stamp with the Christmas sentiment stamp I got the idea to turn the flower to be as bauble.

I coloured the flower/bauble with Ecoline Brush Pens (and water) and cut the image because I got some ink on my background and I wanted this card to be clean and simple. Then I stamped the text and taped the image on the card with foam tape.

Have you already started Christmas cards? 😃
